Hey crafty friends! It’s Heather here with another day of inspiration to share with you using the new Over the Moon Kit! There is a limited quantity of the kit available and once they are gone, the kit will not be available to purchase again and most of the items in the kit will not be available to purchase later. Today’s video is from Joy Baldwin and she is sharing four different cards that she created with the Over the Moon Kit and Foil It – Over the Moon panels. Watch the video below:
In the video, Joy shares a closer look at what is included in the Over the Moon Kit. Please note that the Foil It – Over the Moon panels are sold separately from the kit. Then, Joy walks you through all four card designs that she created.
Here’s a close look at the cards that joy shared in the video:

For this first card, Joy embossed the Shooting Stars Background stamp in gold on Sugar Cube cardstock and added ink blending with Blue Corn, Poblano Pepper, and Jelly Donut inks over the top. She cut the panel into strips and added them to a card base with foam adhesive to add extra dimension. The sentiments from the Over the Moon stamp set are embossed in gold, cut out with the coordinating dies, and stacked together on the card front.

Joy cut out star shapes from a piece of Blue Corn cardstock using the star dies from the Moon & Stars die collection to create a shaker card. The panel is backed with window acetate, adhered to the card base with foam sticky strips, and the shaker is filled with the Rose Gold Stars from the kit. The moon is cut out of Sugar Cube cardstock and the color is added to it with Pineapple ink using a blender brush. The embossed dot design on the moon will impress on your cardstock even when you only run it through your die cut machine. You can emboss the design so it shows up even more using an embossing pad kit with your die cut machine. Finally, the sentiment is embossed in white on the card and Joy added a few star trails to the die cut star openings with the the Over the Moon stamp set.

This card features a foiled background created with a Foil It – Over the Moon panel and Aqua Deco Foil – the aqua foil on the dark blue cardstock has such a great look! The moon is cut out of Sea Salt cardstock that is shaded with Earl Gray ink and it is nestled together with the ‘over the moon for you’ sentiment that is stamped with Poblano Pepper ink and cut out with the coordinating die.

The background on this last card is created with a Foil it – Over the Moon panel that is foiled with Silver Shattered Glass Deco Foil. Joy added die cut stars with foam adhesive over the shooting stars in the background design and the dimensional effect is so playful and fun! The ‘best wishes’ sentiment from the Over the Moon stamp set is embossed in gold on a Sugar Cube cardstock strip.

Here is another round up of cards from the TE Creative Team that were created using the Over the Moon Kit:

I love the combination of silver and gold on this card created by Emily Mydlowski with the Over the Moon Kit. The Foil It – Over the Moon background panel is foiled with Gold Deco Foil and Emily added the moon to it that she cut out and embossed with silver foil cardstock. The sentiments from the Over the Moon stamp set are embossed in gold on Sugar Cube cardstock and cut out with the coordinating dies. I love that Emily created a coordinating envelope by added a Scalloped Envelope Liner die cut inside that is embossed in gold with the Shooting Stars Background stamp!

Jill Hawkins went for a colorful look on this card and foiled a Foil it – Over the Moon panel with Rainbow Deco Foil. The sentiments from the Over the Moon stamp set are embossed in silver on Blue Corn cardstock and I love how Jill added them over strips that are cut out with the Easy Strips – 1/8″ die and stitched with her sewing machine. The foiled panel is layered on to a silver glitter cardstock background and silver glittered stars are sprinkled around the sentiments.

Melody Rupple used the moon die to cut an opening from a Foil It – Over the Moon panel to create a shaker card. The opening is backed with window acetate, adhered to the card with foam sticky strips, and the shaker element is filed with Rose Gold Stars. Sentiments from the Over the Moon stamp set are stamped with Blue Corn ink on Sugar Cube cardstock, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the card along with stars that are cut out of gold foil cardstock.

Our guest designer, Thanh Vo, created a galaxy background for this shaker card by ink blending the background and adding lots of white splatters for the stars. She cut a circle opening from the panel, backed it with acetate, and filled the shaker with Snow Flurries sequins. The moon, cut out of white and silver glitter cardstock, is layered onto the shaker window along with the ‘over the moon for you’ sentiment that is embossed in white on Blue Corn cardstock. The finishing touch on the card is a few silver glitter cardstock stars and Bit & Pieces – Drip Drops.

Jen Shults added color to the Foil It – Over the Moon panel with Rainbow Deco Foil for this card that she created with the Over the Moon Kit. She cut the panel on an angle and added it to a Toffee card base. By doing that she actually was able to create 2 cards with one foiled panel! The moon and sentiment are added to the card front on a vellum circle cut out with a Stitched Circle Stacklets die. Jen added die cut stars scattered across the card along with dots created with a white paint pen.

I love all of the different foiled elements that Noriko Fairchild incorporated into this card! She foiled the Foil It – Over the Moon panel with Rose Gold Deco Foil with her Minc machine, added foil to die cuts using sticky sheets, and foiled the sentient by embossing it with clear embossing powder and sending through her Minc machine at a low temperature setting. In addition to the foil the card is also a shaker! the shaker is filled with a mix of Bits & Pieces – Sparkly Stars and the Rose Gold Stars from the kit.

The awesome city scene on this card was created by Kavya! The cityscape at the bottom of the card is created with the Downtown Border and Downtown Border Underlay dies with Lollipop, Jelly Donut, and Blue Corn cardstock. I love the ink blending and the polka dot detail that Kavya added to the moon in pink, peach, and white! The ‘over the moon for you’ sentiment is embossed in white on Blue Corn cardstock and added next to the moon in the scene.
