Today’s video is from Emily Leiphart and she is sharing a bunch of Mini Slim cards created with the new Triple Slim Boho Summer set and Mini Slim Half Dots Cutting Plate die. Watch the video below:

In the video, Emily shows how she stenciled the Mini Slim panel designs with the Triple Slim Boho Summer Layering Stencil & Clear Combo set using Blender Brushes. She shares how you can use the Mini Slim Half Dots Cutting Plate die to create cards by cutting out the design from several colors of cardstock. The sentiments from the Boho Hellos stamp set are added to the different card designs that Emily created with both the stencils and the Cutting Plate die.

Here’s a closer look at the cards that Emily created in the video:

Emily’s color combination that she used with the Triple Slim Boho Summer set is: Cupcake, Lollipop, Sprinkles, and Candy Corn. The designs don’t need much after adding the panels to coordinating Mini Slim card bases. All of the sentiments from the Boho Hellos stamp set are stamped with Oreo Ink on Sugar Cube cardstock with a few extra layers underneath to pop them up from the backgrounds. Which panel design is your favorite?

For the cards created with the Mini Slim Half Dots Cutting Plate die, Emily cut the die out with cardstock colors to match the stenciled cards above along with gold glitter, Sugar Cube, and Oreo cardstock. The card on the bottom includes the frame inset with the half circle pieces into the openings to create a fun and colorful pattern. For the card on the top, Emily created a border design with the half circles to surround the sentiment and added strips of color to the top and bottom of the card cut out with the Easy Strips – 1/4″ and Easy Strips – 1/2″ dies.

Here’s more inspiration from the TE Creative Team created with the new Summer release products:

Jen Shults brought on the bright colors for this set of Mini Slim cards that she created with the Triple Slim Boho Summer set. For the stenciling, Jen used Fruit Punch, Cookie Monster, Poblano Pepper, and Pineapple inks. The sentiments from the Boho Hellos stamp set are embossed in white on Oreo cardstock and added to Stitched Circle Stacklets dies to add to the cards. Jen added the Mini Slim Half Dots Cutting Plate die cut from Oreo cardstock layered over the stenciled panel of the middle card – I love the bright pops of color with the black!

Just a change of colors with the Triple Slim Boho Summer set gives your card a whole different look! Melody Rupple stenciled the Mini Slim panels with Macaron, Banana Cream Pie, Confetti Cake, and Spearmint inks and added stamped details in darker color tones with the clear stamps in the set. She added the sentiments from the Boho Hellos stamp set in coordinating ink colors along with Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.

I went for a more boho rustic look with this set of Mini Slim cards that I created with the Triple Slim Boho Summer set (Heather Nichols). The panels are stenciled with Spearmint, Peaches ‘n’ Cream, Honey, and Sugar Cube ink on Toffee cardstock. There are details added using the clear stamps with Sugar Cube ink and splatters added with Copic opaque white ink and Chocolate Truffle liquid watercolor. The sentiments from the Boho Hellos stamp set are stamped with Spearmint ink and have an extra layer of silver glitter cardstock layered underneath to add sparkle.

Emily Mydlowski created a bright and colorful summer card with the new Tropical Leaves die collection! The leaves are cut out from several bright and bold cardstock colors and added to an Oreo card base – I love how Emily inlaid a few leaf details with contrasting cardstock colors! The sentiment from the Hello Sunshine stamp set is added with Tropical Punch ink and paired with a sentiment strip from the Mini Strips – Hello Summer stamp. Bits & Pieces – Cosmic Drip Drops are the finishing touch!

Kavya added a few leaves cut out with the Tropical Leaves die collection to create a tropical scene featuring the flamingo from the Tickled Pink Stamp & Stencil Combo set. I love how Kavya used one of the leaf dies to create Birds of Paradise flowers for the scene! The water is created with the Cool Pool Rotating Stencil and the sky is blended with Blender Brushes to create a sunset effect. The ‘aloha’ sentiment from the Hello Sunshine stamp set is embossed in white on Lollipop cardstock.

This adorable pool scene card was created by Jill Hawkins with the Pool Party stamp set (+ coordinating dies) and Cool Pool Rotating Stencil. To create the oval wading pool shape, Jill cut out the panel she stenciled the water onto with the Arched Stacklets die collection. She made sure not to cut all the way to the straight end of the die and then flipped it around the other direction to add the rounded end to the other side. The cute images from the stamp set are colored with Copic markers, added to the pool scene, and then Jill finished off the design with a few Bits & Pieces – Clear Drip Drops.

Lori Craig used her Gel Press with the Cool Pool Rotating Stencil to create the watery background for this summery card. Isn’t the effect great? The images from the Pool Party stamp set are added to the pool water background along with the ‘hello sunshine’ sentiment from the Hello Sunshine stamp set that is embossed in white on Confetti Cake cardstock.
