Today’s video is from Heather Nichols and she is showcasing the new Foil It – Hooray Birthday. This set can be used on its own or you can pair it with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set to add color and pattern to the foiled panels. In the video, Heather shows how to use the Foil It – Hooray Birthday panels with the Create-in-Quads Hooray Layering Stencil set to make a set of 4 birthday cards. She shows how to mask off and omit areas of the stencil quadrant that created the graduation caps to use on the panel that includes cute little birthday cakes to replace the caps!

The Foil It – Hooray Birthday panels are foiled with Gold Deco Foil and Heather added stenciling with Guava, Macaron, and Granny Smith inks. The panels are cut out with the largest Stitched Rectangle Stacklets die and layered onto the largest Petite Scallop Rectangle Stacklets die cut out from coordinating cardstock colors. The finishing touch on all of the cards is Bits & Pieces – Clay Stars scattered throughout the designs.

Here’s a closer look at the new Foil It packs that are now available along with inspiration from the TE Creative Team. Emily Mydlowski foiled the panels with Rainbow Deco Foil and then added extra details to each of her cards cut out from a cardstock foiled with the same Rainbow Deco Foil, foil cardstock, and glitter cardstock. I love all of the little stars that she added cut out with the Little Bits – Stars die!

Jen Shults went for extra sparkle with Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil on one of the Foil It – Piece of Cake panels! Color is added to the cake image with the Piece of Cake Layering Stencil set and then Jen used the foiled panel as the background for a shaker card! The shaker is filled with Snow Flurries sequins and framed with a Stitched Frame Stacklets 1 die cut. The ‘it’s your day’ sentiment from the It’s Your Day stamp set is embossed in white on Oreo cardstock and cut out with the coordinating die collection.

Emily Mydlowski foiled the solid balloon panel design from the Foil It – Balloon Party pack with Silver Stars Deco Foil to create this fun and festive birthday card. The open balloons have colored added with the Balloon Party Stencil & Clear Combo set using Cherry Pop, Cookie Monster, and Pineapple inks. The ‘happy happy happy birthday’ sentiment from the Foil It – It’s your Day pack is foiled with Gold Deco Foil and cut out with the It’s Your Day die collection. The final touch is gold foil cardstock stars scattered through the design that are cut out with the Little Bits – Stars die.

Melody Rupple foiled the outline balloon panel design from the Foil It – Balloon Party pack in gold, added color and details with the Balloon Party Stencil & Clear Combo set, and used it as the background of this birthday shaker card. The acetate front of the shaker is the happy birthday sentiment from the Foil It Acetate – Handlettered Sentiments pack that Melody also foiled in gold. The shaker is framed with the largest die from the Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate die and filled with Bits & Pieces – Sparkly Circles and Bits & Pieces – Sparkly Stars.

Heather Nichols foiled a few of the Foil It – Paradise panels for this set of cards using Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil. For the card on the left, Heather added color to the panel with Blue Corn ink using a Blender Brush and then used it as the background of a shaker card filled with Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops and Snow Flurries sequins. For the card on the right, Heather added Poblano Pepper ink to the panel with a Blender Brush and then cut it out with a Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die. Both cards feature sentiments from the Foil It – On Occasion pack foiled with Gold Deco Foil.

Add foil accents to the Mini Slim cards you create with our Foil It – Mini Slim Doodle Flowers and Foil It – Mini Slim Spring Spray panels. Simply top with the foil of your choice, run them through your foiling machine, and Voilà! Beautiful patterns with shiny flowers & greenery!

Kavya foiled the panel from Foil It – Mini Slim Doodle Flowers in silver and added color in a few different ways to create a fun look. She used Copic markers and then added watercolor in the same colors around the images to create the effect. The ‘happy birthday’ sentiment from the Foil It – On Occasion pack is foiled with Silver Stars Deco Foil and added to the card design along with a sentiment strip embossed in white on Cookie Monster cardstock.

Lori Craig created a beautiful card with the Foil It – Mini Slim Spring Spray and Foil It – On Occasion sets. She foiled everything with Gold Deco Foil and then colored the floral designs with Copic markers. I love the dotted detail that Lori did to add shading to the flowers and I love the delicate touch that the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets die cut adds to the look! The ‘thinking of you’ sentiment is cut out with the On Occasion die collection and added to the card along with a few Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops.

Check out this pretty pair of foiled cards created by Jill Hawkins! The card on the left features a Foil It – Gathered Greenery panel that is foiled with Silver Deco Foil and Jill added color to a portion of the panel using the Masking Stencils – Rectangles set with green and yellow inks. The flower is from the Planting Happiness stamp set and the ‘get well soon’ sentiment from Foil It – On Occasion pack. The card on the right is created with a Foil It – Branches & Blooms panel that is also foiled in silver and colored with Copic markers. The ‘sending hugs & good vibes’ sentiment strips is from the Simple Strips in Reverse – Everyday Occasions pack and is added over strips cut out with the Easy Strips dies.

Add shimmery accents to the cards you create with our Foil It – Wildflower panels. Simply top with the foil of your choice, run it through your foiling machine and voilà! A playful pattern with shiny stems, leaves and flowers!

Jen Shults foiled one of the Foil It – Wildflower panels to create this colorful get well card. The flowers were masked off to blend the background with Peapod and Cookie Monster inks and then the flowers were colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is put together with the On Occasion stamp set and a sentiment strip from the Simple Strips – Sympathy stamp. Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones are scattered throughout the card design for an extra touch of sparkle.

Add shimmering accents to your cards when you create with our Foil It – Diamond Botanical. This diamond shaped frame surrounded by leaves, berries, and blooms can be easily foiled by adding your favorite colored foil & sending it through a foiling machine. Foil It – Diamond Botanical coordinates with the Diamond Botanical die and Masking Stencils – Diamonds.

Foil It – Mini Slim Botanical features a rectangular frame surrounded by leaves, berries and blooms. Simply top with the foil of your choice and run it through your foiling machine to create shimmering accents! Foil It – Mini Slim Botanical coordinates with the Mini Slim Botanical die and Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Thin Rectangle. 

I love all of the dimension and shine on this birthday card created by Melody Rupple with Foil It – Diamond Botanical. The image is foiled with Teal Deco Foil, colored with Copic markers, and cut out with the Diamond Botanical die. The ‘birthday wishes’ sentiment from the Diamond Botanical stamp set is embossed in white on Blue Raspberry cardstock cut out with the Diamond Botanical die and I love the peek of green coming out from under the foiled design that is stenciled with the Masking Stencils – Diamonds set.

This elegant Mini Slim sympathy card was created with Foil It – Mini Slim Botanical by Lori Craig. The panel is foiled with Gold Deco Foil and Lori added color to the foliage with Copic markers and to the rectangular frame using the Masking Stencils – Mini Slim Thin Rectangle set. Inside the frame, the ‘with sympathy’ sentiment from the Mini Slim Botanical Sentiments stamp set is stamped in Chocolate Truffle ink. A few Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops are the perfect finishing touch.

Create a bold design with shimmery accents with Foil It – The Right Angle! This pattern features triangles of various shapes and sizes that can be foiled. Use with The Right Angle Layering Stencil set to add color. The unique, geometric pattern can be used for a variety of occasions depending on the color palette you choose!

Jill Hawkins created a congratulations card with Foil It – The Right Angle. She foiled the design with Silver Deco Foil and added color using The Right Angle Layering Stencil set with Dijon, Poblano Pepper, and Spearmint inks. The stenciled design is cut out with a Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets die and added to a Mini Slim card base. Sentiment strips from the Simple Strips in Reverse – Everyday Occasions set are also foiled in silver and Jill added them to the card along with stars cut out with the Little Bits – Stars die from silver foil cardstock.
