Hey, crafty friends! It’s Taylor here! Even though the weather is still warm – well actually HOT some days – fall is in the air! I am excited about this change of pace and have shifted into crafting for the cozy autumn season. I think you’ll feel that cozy feeling with our new products that are a part of our Autumn release! We have our much beloved Gus & Gertie having an autumn adventure plus mosaic leaf styles that can be explored with a variety of techniques. A collection of ginkgo themed products rounds out this autumn release (is it just me or is ‘ginkgo’ a word you have to look up a million times to get the spelling right???) Also, Buttercream Frosting is FINALLY making an appearance! Yay!

Today’s video features a set of three clean and simple cards I created with products from the Ginkgo Bundle. See how these cards come together with the beautiful ginkgo leaf illustrations in the video below:

In the video, I use the Peace & Hope Stamp & Die Combo set, Ginkgo Background stamp, and Foil It – Ginkgo panels to create three different cards. These cards came together quickly and love the different looks and effects that I was able to create with different combinations of stamping, embossing, ink blending, and foiling. All of the cards feature sentiments from the Foil It – Grateful Greetings panels that are cut out with the coordinating Grateful Greetings die collection.

Here is a closer look at the cards that I created in the video:

The background on the ‘be joyful’ card was created with stencils from the Abstract Accents Stencil & Clear Combo set. I stenciled the shapes with Honey, Rosewater, and Poblano Pepper inks and then embossed a ginkgo leaf over the top with gold embossing powder. The design is cut out with the Arched Stacklets dies and framed with Poblano Pepper cardstock. Just think of all of the color combinations you could do with this card design!

The ‘with gratitude’ card features a Foil It – Ginkgo panel foiled with Gold Deco Foil. I added a touch of color by blending around the leaves with Rose Water and Honey inks. To frame this design I impressed the panel with one of the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets.

To create the ‘give thanks’ card, I stamped the Ginkgo Background stamp with Honey ink on Honey cardstock and then layered die cut ginkgo leaves over the stamped design that are embossed in gold on Rose Water and Poblano Pepper cardstock. The stamped panel is trimmed down so that it can be framed with the Diagonal Stitch Rectangle Stacklets that is impressed into the card base.

Ginkgo is perfect for adding a delicate tone to your cards. The Ginkgo Background stamp is versatile enough to use on both simple or sophistocated backgrounds. Great for anniversaries, thinking of you, and sympathy cards. 

Show someone you’re thinking of them with a card using the Peace & Hope Stamp and Die Combo set. It’s the perfect way to show someone you care with the gentleness of ginkgo leaves. This set includes two ginkgo leaves stamps & coordinating dies to send a ‘hello’ or sympathies as well as the following sentiment stamps:

The new Foil It – Ginkgo pack shows the delicate intricacies of the ginkgo leaves and helps elevate your cards with the glimmer of foil! Simply add foil on top of the Foil It – Ginkgo panel then send it through your heat machine, and voilà! Set of 12 – 4″ x 5 1/4″ pre-printed panels (3 each of 4 designs) on TE Premium Cardstock.

Melody Rupple created a peaceful card using the Peace & Hope Stamp & Die Combo set and Ginkgo Background stamp. The background is embossed on Spearmint cardstock with clear embossing powder and Melody added Poblano Pepper over the top of the embossed design with her Blender Brushes. She stamped additional ginkgo leaves with Poblano Pepper ink on Spearmint cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating dies and added them around the ‘peace & hope’ sentiment along with a few Bits & Pieces – Pearl Drip Drops.

The Grateful Greetings stamp set is a simple way to add a beautiful, handwritten touch to your Thanksgiving and autumn cards and crafts. This set includes five sentiments in a bold font:

• Happy Thanksgiving
• Give Thanks
• Be Joyful
• With Gratitude
• Grateful For You

Cut out the sentiments with the coordinating Grateful Greetings die collection.

Add some glimmery accents to your autumn & fall cards with Foil It – Grateful Greetings! This fun set can be foiled by simply adding your favorite foil color & sending it through your heat machine. The sentiments can be cut out with the coordinating Grateful Greetings die collection.

Heather Nichols foiled the sentiments on a Foil it – Grateful Greetings panel with Copper Deco Foil, cut them out with the coordinating dies, and added them to Foil It – Ginkgo panels that are foiled with Amber Watercolor Deco Foil to create this set of fall themed cards. The panels are ink blended with Honey ink and Heather added shading to the leaves with Sweet Potato Pie ink. Each of the panels is framed with a thin frame cut out with the A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate die and the cards are finished off with a few Bits & Pieces – Gold Drip Drops.

Add depth and dimension to the fall scenes you create with our mosaic leaf die collections. Our beautifully designed Mosaic Beech Leaf, Mosaic Maple Leaf, and Mosaic Oak Leaf die collections can be watercolored, paper-pieced, or blended to look like a mosaic leaf. Each set includes solid and a detailed outline version of the leaf/leaves.

I love this clean and simple fall card by Emily Mydlowski created with the Mosaic Beech Leaf die collection. She cut out the leaf bases from vellum and added the detail layer over the top cut out from Sugar Cube cardstock. The background of the card is a pretty ombre blend that starts at the bottom with Mocha and Mulled Wine inks and then working up the card using several shades of pink inks. The ‘with gratitude’ sentiment from the Foil it – Grateful Greetings panels is foiled in gold and added to the card with a few Bits & Pieces – Iridescent Rhinestones.

Lori Craig shows off a pretty pair of autumn cards featuring leaves cut out with the Mosaic Maple Leaf and Mosaic Oak Leaf die collections. The card on the left features maple leaves cut out with the solid die and ink blended with red, orange, and yellow ink tones. The card on the right has a background put together with the oak and maple outline detail dies. I love the tone on tone look and the texture that the die cuts create! A closer look at the sentiment and splatters and you’ll notice our new Buttercream Frosting ink color – more details on that a bit further down in this post!

If you’re a fan of both stamping and stenciling, you’ll love our unique Four Seasons Stamp & Stencil Combo (this set might look familiar to you if you attended Stamp Joy 2021 last fall)! This set is an easy way to make a complex background that’s perfect for any occasion no matter the season! Simply stamp the background of leaf veins and dots, then use the etched guides on the first stencil as alignment guides to embellish your leaves before doing the same thing with the other stencils. 

Add shimmery accents to the cards you create with our Four Seasons Stamp & Stencil Combo (sold separately) with our Foil It – Four Seasons panels. Top the panels with the foil of your choice and run it through your foiling machine and use the coordinating stencils to add the flowers, leaves, and details.

Melody Rupple foiled one of the Foil It – Four Seasons panels with Gold Deco Foil and added color to the flowers and leaves using the stencils from the Four Seasons Stamp & Stencil Combo set with a variety of ink in blue and green tones. She stamped the ‘be joyful’ sentiment from the Grateful Greetings stamp set and added it to a vellum circle cut out with a Stitched Circle Stacklets die layered with a few additional gold foil cardstock die cuts. A few leaves finish the design that are cut out with the Mosaic Beech Leaf dies using Spearmint cardstock for the solid base and gold foil cardstock for the detail layer.

This adorable pair is ready for all the fun fall adventures! In the Gus & Gertie Autumn Adventures stamp set, Gus & Gertie are making s’mores, picking apples, and rolling in the leaves! Sentiments include:

• Autumn Blessings
• Life Is S’more Fun With You
• Happy Fall
• Couldn’t Have Picked A Better Friend

How adorable is this campfire scene that Jill Hawkins created with the Gus & Gertie Autumn Adventures stamp set? Jill blended the background to look like a tent opening, adding stars for the night sky that are cut out with the Little Bits – Stars die. The Gus & Gertie toasting marshmallows over the fire image is colored with Copic markers (Gus with the s’more in his mouth!!), cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the scene along with the ‘life is s’more fun with you’ sentiment embossed in white.

Use our Woodland Squad Die & Clear Stamp Combo set to make adorable fall or winter-themed gift tags and Autumn projects! The set includes all the dies you need to create a reindeer, moose, and fox along with a set of five clear stamps to add faces! These critters are sized to work perfectly with our Tag Stacklets 1 and Tag Stacklets 2 die collections.

This woodsy set of tags made with the Woodland Squad Die & Clear Combo set was created by Heather Nichols. The critters are cut out from Toffee, Honey, Mocha, and Sweet Potato Pie cardstock and shaded with Mocha ink. Heather stamped the faces with the clear stamps and the critters are added to tags cut out with the Pierced Tag Stacklets 2 die collection. Heather used just the stamp from the Four Seasons Stamp & Stencil Combo set to stamp the tag background and she added tags cut out with an Itty Bitty Tags 1 die and stamped with the ‘just for you’ sentiment from the Itty Bitty Sentiments stamp set.
