Hey, crafty friends, Rachel here! Today I am happy to introduce you to one of our designers, Sue Banker! Sue brings a lifetime of crafting experience, boundless ideas, and plenty of creativity to all her projects. We can’t wait for you to get to know her!

Sue says she has been crafting “since she was old enough to hold a crayon”! From painting to felt, paper, and even wood, Sue has worked in just about every medium you can imagine. While earning a degree in Fine Art and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Superior, Sue’s artistic journey started with watercolor, oils, and acrylics. After her studies, she worked for Better Homes & Gardens, starting as a copywriter before moving into the crafty side of things, and then freelancing and contributing to countless crafting books and magazines!

Sue joined Taylored Expressions about 7 months ago, and as she puts it: “To have all these fun tools is like heaven!” While she’s loved crafting her whole life, working at TE has expanded her papercrafting skills in new and exciting ways.

When it comes to papercrafting, Sue loves to think out of the box, experimenting with new textures, techniques, and ideas. Her favorite TE products? You’ll almost always find her reaching for Stacklets dies (she just loves them!) and finishing off projects with embellishments: her secret weapon for precision placement is the Embellie Gellie!
