Hey, crafty friends, Rachel here! If you’re looking to add some wow-worthy shine to your cards, foiling is a fun and easy way to make your projects pop! With a little heat and a lot of sparkle, the Mini Minc makes it simple to turn your toner printed panels into shimmering showstoppers.

How to Foil with a Mini Minc

1. Set Up Your Mini Minc Machine:
   • Turn on your Mini Minc and set the heat setting to 3 or 4 for optimal foiling results.
2. Prepare the Foil Transfer Folder:
   • Take one of the 6×6 Foil Transfer Folders from the pack (they come in a pack of two) and open it up.
   • Place your Foil Magic Shim inside the folder. This product helps evenly distribute heat across your Foil It panel.
3. Prepare Your Foil It Panel:
   • Place your Foil It panel inside the folder, positioning it under the clear folder for easy handling.
   • Select a TE Fun Foil and place it shiny side up on top of your pre-printed panel. Ensure the entire toner card is covered with the foil.
4. Run It Through the Mini Minc:
   • Close the folder and insert it folded side first into your Mini Minc Machine.
   • Run the folder through the Minc, allowing the heat to transfer evenly over the Foil It panel, applying the foil design.
5. Remove and Reveal:
   • Gently pull the folder out of the Mini Minc once it has passed through.
   • Let the folder cool slightly before peeling back the foil. The beautiful, foiled design will be revealed, with foil adhering to the toner printed areas.

Note: if you’re using a large Minc machine, you can use the 8 1/12 x 11 in. Foil Transfer Carrier Sheet and Magic Shim, sold as a set, for larger projects.
