Virginia has been papercrafting since 2001 and has worn many creative hats throughout her crafting journey including scrapbooker, cardmaker, mini album artist, papercraft instructor, store owner, and design team member. This first layout combines travel icons and color blocking to tell the story of an unforgettable drive through Austria’s breathtaking mountain roads. Virginia used the Road Map 6×6 Background Stamp to create a subtle map-inspired background behind the photos, helping reinforce the travel theme while keeping the focus on the scenery.

Dimensional embellishments created with the All Together – Adventure Icons Stamp & Die Combo (included in the Adventure Awaits Cardmaking Kit) add playful detail throughout the page, while the bright travel-inspired color palette from the Adventure Awaits ink collection ties everything together seamlessly. Tiny arrows, passports, airplanes, and hearts guide your eye through the layout like stops along a journey.

The journaling strips in a classic typewriter font help memorialize the experience in a simple, approachable way, proving that scrapbook pages don’t have to be complicated to tell a meaningful story. By pairing meaningful memories with travel-inspired icons and layered details, the layout captures both the beauty of the destination and the emotions tied to the adventure itself.

Sweet Stops & Favorite Memories

This layout captures one of the best parts of traveling: discovering unforgettable treats and hidden gems along the way! Using layered license plate-inspired die cuts and colorful sentiment die cuts, Virginia created a playful backdrop that perfectly supports her photos from Florence and its famous gelato shops.

The Going Places Stamp Set and coordinating Dies were used to add the fun travel “Oh the Places” sentiment creating movement and excitement across the page. The stacked sentiment die cuts were cleverly used to create a color coordinated ice cream cone shape as a bold backdrop.

We especially love how this page highlights the little moments that become favorite memories long after the trip is over.

Virginia layered softly blended die cut airplanes, arrows, passports, cars, and more to reinforce the travel narrative without overwhelming the page.

This scrapbook page documents a sailing adventure through the British Virgin Islands with vibrant colors, layered pennant shapes, and cheerful travel icons. The clean grid photo arrangement keeps the layout polished while still allowing plenty of room for storytelling. Pops of Blueberry, Brussels Sprout, Sweet Corn, and Persimmon cardstock create bold contrast against the softer Rose Water background, helping the photos shine while maintaining a cohesive look.
