I am feeling in a rut… I think 11Valerie11’s rut has rubbed off on me. However, my rut doesn’t look nearly as good as hers! LOL! I’ve been preparing for a craft fair and I’m feeling the pressure. I want to make sure I have enough stuff and quality stuff that people will be interested in buying. So I work my regular full-time job all day and then I come home and make cards all night until I go to bed. My husband says I need a break and I think I’ll take his advice. Take a few deep breaths, watch some TV, take a bath, paint my nails… all the relaxing things I’ve been missing out on…sounds like a good plan to me! But no worries… I will continue to update my blog. I’ve got plenty of stuff saved up to share with you all! 🙂

Despite my rut, I just can’t stop using these images that I got from Audrey (MsAudreyAnn)!! This set is so fun to color and I would highly recommend it even though I don’t have it myself…. YET! 😉 It is great for about any medium… Prismas, watercolor crayons, aquapainter and reinkers, blender pens, markers… am I missing anything!? I colored this image with watercolor crayons and did a little shadowing with my grey crayon… *love* the neutrals, although I hate the box they came in! I’ve repackaged mine and I’ll share my little solution with you soon. The image was screaming at me to add some color spritzing, but there’s another thing I don’t have yet… the color spritzer. You’re probably wondering how I live without it, and I’m beginning to wonder too! The colors are Certainly Celery and Barely Banana and the patterned paper is American Crafts. The sentiment is from Simply Said and I added my signature scallops and piercing. Finished card is 5″ square.
