Mr. Brown delivered a big package to my house last night!! I spent the night mounting sets and today I wanted to play… so much for a break, huh? In my package I got Riveting, Carved and Candlelit, Booglie Eyes, Many Merry Messages, and Festive Favorites along with lots of cardstock and all the new stitched ribbons…mmmm…mmmm! I also got the holiday papers and they are just too much fun! Can you tell I’m excited!?

I was at Michael’s this morning and saw an unfinished wooden purse-looking box for $1.00. I snatched it up and altered it using the new holiday papers. I adhered the paper with Mod Podge and put a coat of Mod Podge over the top as well. After it dried I sanded the edges for a distressed look. The chipboard “m” is from Joann’s and I covered it with paper and sanded it as well. All of the cards are 3×3 size from Stampin’ Up. I used a variety of sets, papers, and ribbons for the cards and they fit just perfectly in the cute little wooden purse!
