Just playing around with a few more new toys today. I got Festive Favorites last week and I was a little disappointed. I didn’t realize that the three long rectangular stamps are all part of one big stamp. I thought they were separate and I have no intention of using them together (at least not right now… I reserve the right to change my mind) LOL! Oh well… it’s a pretty easy fix… I’ll just ink up whatever image I want to use. Or ink up the whole stamp and then cut the images apart. I’m also playing more with the new Holiday papers. I LOVE THEM! They are so versatile and they make it easy to dress up an otherwise boring card like this one.

There’s nothing too special about this card. The card base is Very Vanilla and I also used True Thyme and Cranberry Crisp cardstock. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I added some white liquid applique for the snow which looks really cool IRL. Top it off with some ribbon, a few brads, and a sentiment from Many Merry Messages and voila! A super quick and easy card!
