Posies Gift Set
I am stressed! I’m sure you all know stress… it’s no fun! I think it’s manifesting itself in my neck at the moment. Just when I think I’ll get relief it starts hurting again. And I’m sure it doesn’t help that most of my day is spent looking down at paperwork and then most of my night is spent looking down while I make cards. Anyways… enough about my stress… I just have to make it through the holiday season and I’m home free. We’re taking a vacation at the beginning of January so if I can just make it till then! LOL! Last night I finished up a few of these gift sets for my upcoming craft fair. I picked up the journals at a local department store and thought they would look really cute with Polka Dot Posies. The journal cover came embossed with cute glittery flowers. It had a window for a picture, but instead I stamped Polka Dot Posies in matching colors, covered the flower center with crystal effects and glitter, and added the memories stamp from one of the Making Memories magnetic stamp sets. Then I tied coordinating ribbons on each of the spirals. I made a set of four matching notecards (4.25″ square) and a beaded pen to finish off the set. I think I’ll tie it up with some wide grosgrain. Anybody have any other suggestions for packaging these types of gift sets? I’m open to ideas!
