I was walking around Target with my hubby and found these adorable Kleenex boxes while I was supposed to be getting laundry detergent. I immediately saw Island Blossoms in the design and thought I could add a little touch of my own. And the best part… they were on clearance! I *love* a good deal! And I think the clearance tag was by mistake because I went back to Target a few days later and all the clearance stickers had been removed from the cute Kleenex boxes.

The colors I used are Cameo Coral, Barely Banana, and Rose Red. The background strip is stamped with Island Blossoms and highlighted with white gel pen. I thought the “happy thoughts” sentiment was perfect for a Kleenex box because chances are if you’re using a Kleenex you’re not feeling the best… whether you’ve got a runny nose or just spilled an entire bottle of crystal effects on your craft table (yes… I have done this!). Now that I have this cute decorated Kleenex box I’m hoping I can find a way to refill it! 🙂

A little dinner story (hopefully we can all relate at some point)…I ’bout burned our apartment down last night! LOL! I had an idea in my head for a card so I sat down right when I got home from work and tried to get it out. It was taking longer than I expected and Jon was getting hungry so he started to grill chicken and my only job was to toast the buns for chicken sandwiches. So I turned on the broiler, buttered the buns, stuck ’em in the oven… and the rest is history. I sat back down to work on my card and figured I’d remember to take the buns out in a minute. Needless to say, I didn’t remember and this is what I pulled out of the oven about 7 minutes later. Anybody hungry!? They were smoking so bad we had to open the back door and throw them outside for a few minutes. LOL! I AM AN IDIOT!! Jon and I got a good laugh out of it though. 🙂
