Kid’s Card Kit
These card kits are another thing I’m planning to sell at my craft fair. Only 12 more days!! I picked up these lunch box tins at the Target $1 Spot a while back and have been waiting for a bright idea. Last night I decided to make Kid’s Card Kits. I covered the front and back of the lunch box tin with patterned paper. Then I stamped “kid’s” with the Whimsical Alpha and printed “card kit” from the computer. I added the characters from Unfrogettable, colored them with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump.
The dragonfly wings are covered with dazzling diamonds and both the frog and the dragonfly have googlie eyes. I just can’t seem to use this set without googlie eyes! The handle is tied with ribbon in coordinating colors (Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Green Galore). The contents of the tin include a set of mini highlighters (also from the $1
Spot), a pack of crayons, an altered mini composition book, six 3×3 cards with envelopes, and six 2.75” square pieces stamped with Unfrogettable in various scenes. The idea is that the child will color the scenes and then the parent will slap that onto a 3×3 card to be used as a gift card or tag. I hope this idea is a hit! 🙂
