Celebrate the Season
First, I have to apologize for the picture. I just couldn’t snap a good one to show off the ice and still capture the colors of the notecard. Grrr. And I was late for work and still didn’t get a good pic. Big Grrrr. OK… vent over and onto the cards (which hopefully you’re able to picture in your head much cuter than what is shown in the photo on the left LOL!). The penguins are Amuse and come in a group of 5 which I stamped across the front of the card. I highlighted one grouping of penguins with markers and colored their bellies with white gel pen. The notecard is also Amuse and the top is an icy blue color and the bottom is plain white. I ran sticky strip underneath the blue portion of the card and covered with microbeads to look like ice. Finished it off with Celebrate the Season sentiment, black gingham ribbon, and silver cording. I made several of these for my upcoming vendor fair. Are you guys sick of hearing about the vendor fair yet!? LOL! The countdown is on…13 days till the show!! I was telling my husband yesterday that I feel like I just keep working and working and not getting anywhere and he so intelligently said “Well, if you’d stop thinking of new ideas you’d start to feel like you were accomplishing something.” I had to laugh because that’s so true! There’s never any shortage of ideas in my head and sometimes I just need to shut the idea maker off! Not sure if that’s possible though… anybody else able to shut their idea maker off?? I could use some tips! 🙂
