Adorable stuff, they’d be out of their minds to think it was overpriced…can’t wait to hear how it all went! Thanks for sharing your talent!!

I was so glad to see your prices; mine are pretty much in line with yours – and definitely since the show is commissioned; that certainly plays into the pricing layout. Hope the show was a success; can’t wait to hear!

Taylor, I think your prices are right on target for the type of fair you discribed. Everything looks wonderful. Best wishes for a great fair and I hope you come back empty handed. Looking forward to hearing all about it.

Can’t wait to hear about the show and see pictures!

I don’t think your prices are high at all!! Your Tag Tin is a steal actually! When pricing I always remember this Martha Stewart biopic…about when she tries to sell her homemade pies for $2.50 and no one buys them…but when she raises the pies to $10-15 a pie they sell out!! Good Luck…and happy selling!

    Taylor,
Good luck with the craft show. Your prices are NOT too high. I can’t wait to hear how things went.

Taylor, you blow me away! Here it is the day before the craft show and you are still creating the most awesome new cards and posting them for us to see! You are going to do well at the show. I wish I could come and purchase too!! You are definately NOT overpricing. I might even go a bit higher. I know you won’t have anything left over but if you do, let me know so I can buy you out! (OK, ladies….I hear you all. I will share 😉 Can’t wait to hear all about it. You rock, girl!! Janet in NC

Boy, oh boy, I am really getting sucked into your advanture and am rooting for you to do well at the craft show! I am also looking forward to seeing more pictures at the show, especially your tables before customers get there.
Good luck tomorrow and hope you go home with nothing left!

Awesome work! I just did 2 large craft shows and think your prices are very competive. My rule of thumb is I either take the cost of materials and double it (assuming it’s not too labor intensive). Or, on the more labor items, I take the cost plus pay myself $15 an hour to make it.

Good luck on your craft show!

  • Jennifer Reynard

Your work is “ART”! Each project that you make is time consuming and original. I think your prices are fabulous and people cannot buy these items in the store. Bravo and good luck!

What an adorable card!!! Love the LA on the beards, so cute!!

Good luck tomorrow, I know you’ll do really well. I can’t wait to hear all about it!!

  • Denise

I think your pricing sounds just about right considering your location and items selling. It’s always a guess the first time you go out.
I sell me cards and am always amazed at what sells (what people ‘fight’ over) and what is left behind!
    Have a great show!

Good luck at your show. I’m sure you’ll do great. I think only people that make these things truly know how much work goes into them. Your quality is top notch. Wish I could go.

I go to lots of craft shows and your prices do not seem overpriced at all. Plus, everything you do is quality work and gorgeous – people will eat it up! Can’t wait to see pics of the show!
Your blog is awesome, by the way.

  • Karen (taiterbug)

Cute card – dancing Santas. I know that it is hard to put a price on what we make, but, I certainly don’t think that you have priced anything out of line. People will pay for quality and quality is what they will see when looking at the many things you have made. Also, in pricing you have to look at the market that you are in and price accordingly. I know that you will be very successful. Have a good one. Karen

I love how you did the paper piecing on Santa’s outfit…very cute. And your liquid applique looks all swirly like a cute little beard. Good luck tomorrow and I can’t wait to see pics and hear how it goes. I love checking your blog. I was so excited this afternoon when I pulled it up and there was a new post 😉

I agree with the others, I don’t think you are overcharging at all, your work is awesome. I wish I could come to your show! Good luck!!!

  • Kristine

I agree…you are not over-pricing. I’m positive it will all sell and you will probably think next time you’ll start earlier and make more AND raise the price! LOL! Good luck…you certainly made a ton of GREAT stuff. I’m sad I don’t live in that area 🙁 You’ll have such an awesome time!!!
