    Sweet Thang!

Happy Friday, Sweet Thang! I have the overwhelming urge to take on a Southern accent and shout out SWEET THANG. LOL! I can’t for the life of me remember who sent me this adorable image, but thank you so much! I know it’s by DeNami Designs because I have one similar to it. The paper is Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, and SEI Patterned Paper. The background on each card is stamped with the Stampin’ Up Dotted background. I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. The cherry is covered with Crystal Effects and the tablecloth has stardust Stickles on it. I pierced the scallop punch and outlined with white gel pen. I am in desparate need of a new white gel pen, but I’m trying to hold out until January 1st so I can start earning all those cute Sell-A-Bration sets! The “sweet” letters are stamped from the Tidy Alphabet, cut out, and mounted on black paper. The “thing” is stamped using the 1/4″ casual Karen Foster snap stamps. The other card pictured uses the same colors and patterned paper. I used the Sweet On You set for the circle sentiment and added “hey” and “cupcake” with my 1/8″ casual Karen Foster snap stamps. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! We have a weekend filled with holiday parties. I’m sure they’ll be serving lots of foods like the ones pictured in the Denami image. I always try to be a good girl and say no to the sweets, but resistance is futile! I have a wicked sweet tooth and no willpower! LOL! So bring on the sweets! 😉 I’d also like to say thank you to everyone who helped me with my camera questions. I’ve learned more about cameras in a 24 hour period than I care to admit! My husband and I are going camera shopping this weekend. I will play with my new camera next week and hopefully be able to write a product review and helpful tips for those in similar situations. 🙂
