An Old Favorite
I needed a card for a coworker’s birthday celebration so I resorted to one of my old favorites. In Full Bloom spends most of its time on the shelf, but I just can’t bear to get rid of it because it still has its moments. I got the color combo (Sage Shadow, Bravo Burgundy, and Creamy Caramel) from the Color Coach. I used an aquapainter and ink to color the flowers. I used my color spritzer with a creamy caramel marker for the splatters. I doodled around the image with Creamy Caramel and Bravo Burgundy markers and stitched around the Sage Shadow layer. The backgrounds are French Script and Houndstooth. The friend sentiment is from last years Sell-A-Bration set Noteworthy and the birthday sentiment is from The Angel Company. Both of the flowers and the wings on the bee are covered with stardust Stickles. And the most important part… this picture was taken with my BRAND NEW digital camera! I can’t wait to share the details with all of you since you were so helpful in sharing your knowledge about cameras.
