Good morning! I want to apologize to all of you who faithfully check my blog everyday. I’ve been on hiatus for the past few days… cutting and rolling mounds of ribbon, prepping for two card classes, and cleaning for a gathering I had on Sunday night. I got to meet up with fellow SCSer’s Jami, JoyOfStamping, JJStamper, Samwich, debbiejjackson, and jusgottastamp who was in town from Kentucky! So much fun!! We talked and laughed and ate cupcakes for hours! 😉 I did a card similar to this a while back, but I had to case myself because I thought the buckle would be perfect on this layout. My little sister gave me a bunch of buckles and matching ribbons for Christmas. She’s so sweet and thoughtful! The big blossom is stamped in Cameo Coral on Whisper White paper. The card base is Night of Navy. The “hi” sentiment is from Green Grass Stamps. I stamped it in Night of Navy and then embossed it with Irridescent Ice. These are not colors I would normally put together, but I really like how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by!
A little personal update: My sister has returned from her trip to Honduras! She had a great time working at the orphanage and has such a heart for the children there. She’s pursuing her degree in Psychology & Mission and plans to work overseas in some capacity after she graduates. Thank you for your prayers for safety and for the children at the orphanage. And thank you to those of you who supported her mission trip by purchasing a Bible bookmark!
