Sucker Valentines
I’m making these sucker valentine’s for a friend who is an elementary school teacher. She’s going to give them to all her little students for Valentine’s Day. This is the Olive You set from Stampin’ Up and I just got it from Mr. Brown the other day. I colored the images with markers and highlighted the hearts with stardust stickles glitter. I pierced around the outside for a little something extra. I think I’ll put moving eyes on the love bugs as well. These are so easy to make! I cut the red layer first and made parallel slits approximately in the middle of the piece (it doesn’t have to be exact). Then thread the sucker stick through the two slits and attach the white layer with thicker dimensionals so that the sucker stick has room to lay in between the layers. I used Making Memories foam squares that I got at Michael’s. Super simple gift for the little ones! In fact, I’m a “big one” and this Tootsie Pop is looking mighty good to me right now! 🙂
