Sea World
We had such a great time in San Diego this weekend! The weather was absolutely perfect for a day at SeaWorld. I am like a kid in a candy store when it comes to SeaWorld. I walk around with eyes as big as saucers in awe of such beautiful creations. We got to see killer whales, sea lions, sea otters, walruses, dolphins, sea stars, bat rays, flamingos, sharks, polar bears, and so much more. I was bummed that the penguin exhibit was closed for the day, but other than that we got to see it all! We even got to feed and touch the dolphins and also the bat rays! I think the bat rays were my favorite. They felt soooo slimy… like your hand should be gooey when you took it out of the water, but it wasn’t…. such a cool feeling! And their mouths are on the underside of their bodies so they would float on top of your hand and suck the food out of it. Sometimes they would suck in a bit of your hand too… another cool feeling! I think the grossest thing I saw were four-eyed fish. ICK! Their eyes bulged out of their heads and they flopped around on this log inside their tank. There’s a pic below, don’t you think they look eeeeewwwww!? Here are a few of the pics we took:
