A Little Overboard *wink*

So I went a little overboard at Michael’s tonight! LOL! I had labeled the store near my house a stupid, dumb, stinky, no good selection Michael’s. We never seem to get the products that *everybody* talks about. Now I must take back all the bad things I’ve ever said about my Michael’s! I went tonight and scored these adorable ribbons on cute wooden spools! I just couldn’t resist! I decided I would get 10 and then 10 turned into 15 and then I ended up at the checkout with 17 spools. There’s velvet ribbon, velvet ric rac, daisy printed ribbon, stripes, polka dots, and the beautiful aqua and brown with the flourishes on it! I’m so excited!! But, no time to play this weekend because Jon and I are heading out the door to San Diego… our little Valentine’s gift to each other. Tomorrow we’ll be at Sea World petting the dolphins and watching the whales! I’m super excited about it! I’ll be back on Monday with lots of pictures! Have a great weekend!

    Look really good! I wished there was a Michael’s in the Netherlands. I always see those cute stamps and now this cool ribbon. Have fun with it 🙂

    Oh man those are SO cute! I was just at Michael’s two days ago and NOTHING there like this . . . where can I find it in the store . . . which section . . . I must have some of these — they are great! Also, what is their cost??? TIA Taylor 🙂

    I bought a bunch (though I was much more restrained than you wild ladies, lol) a few weeks agoat Michaels. They were located on an end cap near candles. Which is the other side of store from stampig. I’m sure that Taylor is going to create something awesome to do with the cool wooden spools.

    I too have spent wayyyy too much money on these yummy little items! Even though I came home with about 30 of the darned things at regular price, I still love them and covet them. They are so cool!!! Finally there is something to get excited about at the local craft store(Michaels)!

    Ohhh, I got in trouble with these too!!! I bought some while on vacation in OK a few weeks ago! LOVE THEM!!! I have used 2 spools already…can’t wait to see what I can do with the empty spool…any ideas???

    Gee how great! Love those little spools! Our Michaels left town years ago just after a large Hobby Lobby moved in. Wish they hadn’t!!! Now the nearest Michaels is 3 hours away! Must talk my daughter into going to Dallas with me! They have so many different things we can’t get here!

    Susan – these are on an end cap in the scrapbooking section in my Michael’s. They are also very well hidden because they are right behind a very large support column. The area they occupy isn’t very large so you have to be on the lookout. You may try to print out the pic and show your local Michaels to see if they have them.

    Miceals is having a spool ribbon sale this week too. 2 for 3.00. I picked out 10, then 20-and 70.00 bucks later I left. I split with my daughter but still was so crazy. all new styles too. NOw I need to put them away. I can blame it on the Nyquil right?

    oh man!! you totally scored!! now i have a pretty decent michael’s (literally 2 minutes from my house and that can be a bad thing), but my michael’s doesn’t have these little cuties!! what section did you find them in and how much were they? i especially love the velvet ricrac!! whaaaaaaaaa!!!
