Happy Cupcake Day!
I made a cupcake card last night that I wasn’t crazy about. Sometimes when that happens I let it sit overnight and take a fresh look in the morning. Well, I looked at it this morning and it was still ugly! LOL! I decided to chuck it in the garbage and start fresh (with about 20 minutes before I had to be at work!). This is what came out and I like it much better than the previous attempt. I wasn’t able to get a good picture (because you can barely see the Dotted BG stamped in white craft), but by then my hair was still wet, I had no makeup on, and I was already late for work. The patterned paper is by Kaleidoscope. I pierced and faux stitched around each circle. Then I created a mask and used my Paper Tray set to fill in the circles with the Happy Birthday sentiment. The cupcake sticker is a chipboard topper from Bazzill Basics. I highlighted parts of the cupcake with crystal Stickles. The ribbon is from Cindy at StarLitStudio… I got a 50 yard roll so you’ll be seeing a lot of it in the future! 🙂 Hope you all have a happy Friday! We are going to my parents house for dinner tonight. My grandma will be there who I haven’t seen for almost 3 years. I’m looking forward to it!
