Technique Tuesday
Good morning! My inlaws arrived yesterday morning (their flight on Saturday was cancelled) and we’ve been having lots of fun since they got here. Yesterday we drove to Santa Monica and walked the pier, then up Pacific Coast Highway, then back down and into Hollywood to see the Kodak Theatre, Grauman’s Chinese Mann Theatre, and the Walk of Fame. We also drove down Rodeo Drive… such gorgeous houses! Obviously with all of that going on, I didn’t have time to stamp yesterday, but I thought I’d share this card that I made a few weeks ago. I have wanted the Petal Pushers stamp set by Technique Tuesday for so long! I found it on sale at my LSS a couple weeks ago and snatched up the last one! Woohoo!! The Certainly Celery backround is stamped with the harlequin stamp from Looks Like Spring. I used the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder on the Elegant Eggplant piece and sponged over it with white craft ink. The main image was created using the masking technique. The sentiment is from the Paper Tray set. I added rhinestones to the flower centers and I happened to have the perfect flower charm to finish it off! I’m working today (waaaaaah), but my husband and his family plan to do the VIP tour at the Warner Brothers Studio and see a Jay Leno taping. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
