Happy Birthday, Friend!

Another card with the Friends and Flowers scrappin’ kit! This kit makes it so easy to make quick and fun cards. I just love that everything coordinates. I’ve been making a lot of birthday cards lately and now I’m just hoping I can remember to send them on time! I’m so bad at that! The card base is So Saffron stamped with the harlequin background from Looks Like Spring. I got the acetate Happy Birthday tag so long ago that I can’t even remember when or where! 🙂 The rest of the elements are from the scrappin’ kit and pretty self explanatory. Thanks for stopping by today even though I’m not in a very talkative mood! Taxes were prepared last night and that just takes it all out of me! 😉 I am sooooooooooo glad it’s done though! WHEW!

Um… I think it’s an adorable card.

only the colors clash a little…needs some kind of stable resolution.

But over all it has the simple, but complex look, which makes the sum of the appearance lovely.

Oh…I wish I had this set in my hot little hands already. I had considered buying it but have ot yet. And my daughter just had her first valentine’s day and I did not even make her a card. Bad mommy. Guess I’ll have to get on making an Easter one so I don’t get behind! Love this card that you made!

Ohh, so pretty! Now, if that doesn’t want to make you have a baby?? LOL! Is the ribbon wrapped all the way under the card?? You always do beautiful ribbon on your creations…I’m always having trouble getting it to stick and look straight!

Taylor– I love it! I get this set today too!! 🙂 WOOHOO!! I love baby sets also and we don’t have any kiddos yet either. I love watercoloring– it is my favorite!!! I do it in almost EVERY project I made. One thing that works great for me is to use a scratch piece of paper– take the crayon you want to use… color in dark spot on the scratch paper… and use your aqua painter to pick up the color. It works best for me. 🙂 Thought that might help! Have a great day! Hugs! Ash~

That’s a hard image to watercolor. I like flowers that are nice, easy and straight-forward! 😉 But just so you know, my first thought was “Wow! What a card!” not “Eww! Bad watercoloring!” LOL! We can be our own worst enemies. DON’T DO IT! 😉
