Doodle This Double Take
A few weeks ago Lindsey, Trudee, and Julia started doing what they call a Take Three challenge. They choose a stamp set and a color combo/patterned paper and they each make a card to show the different interpretations and styles that three different people have with one set. I thought this was such a cool idea so I talked to my friend Jami to see if she’d be interested in doing something similar with me. We’re calling our little challenge “Double Take”. The challenge is to use the Doodle This set and the following color combo: Rose Red, Almost Amethyst, So Saffron, and Chocolate Chip. Make sure you check out Jami’s card here! I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I used Stardust Stickles and Stardust Gelly Roll Pen to highlight parts of the image. The sentiment is from PaperTrey’s newest release, Green Thumb. The ribbon photo corners are stapled to the card. This idea came from the brilliant mind of Michelle Wooderson. She is incredibly inspiring! I added a large brownish brad to cover most of the staple. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
