PaperTrey Faux Ribbon
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine went by way too fast, but isn’t that usually how it goes!? Yesterday was the 15th… a very exciting day altogether! Normally one of the most hated days for me as accountant because April 15th means taxes are due. We do have all of the tax returns completed at work and at home, but lucky for you procrastinators out there, you still have two more days to file! The 15th was exciting this year because it brought the release of a new set from PaperTreyInk. Nichole has done it again with Faux Ribbon! This set is so versatile! I created my own patterned paper for this card. But make sure you check out the InkPad Gallery for more fabulous ideas. Ellen Hutson shows how to make faux velvet ribbon, Lisa Johnson creates a clever lampshade with some adorable trim, Amy Rysavy and Heather Nichols show how the trims can be used as a butterfly trail with Butterfly Kisses, Debbie Olson makes some incredibly clever trims with her Faux Ribbon set, and Nichole went over the top showing us how to make some awesome background paper and a faux ribbon bow! And a big congrats to the first guest star stampers Jen Stevenson and Heather Jackman! The 15th also brings the release of the Dirty Dozen Gallery over at Splitcoaststampers. Make sure you stop by and meet the two newest Dirty Girls Michelle Giraud and Linda Duke. And while you’re there you can see what else I’ve been up to this past month… lots of “WILD” stuff! Hope you all have a great day!
