Bare Elements Maria Purse
This is the Maria Half Moon Purse by Bare Elements, a Creative Imaginations line of products. I love this stuff! All of it comes completely blank with a world of possibilities! The Dirty Dozen Design Team was lucky to be able to pair up with Creative Imaginations and create some pieces for their gallery. You can check out more of the Dirty Dozen’s creations here. Current members of the design team will be uploading to this gallery all day so check back if you don’t see your favorite artist’s stuff! Bare Elements products can be purchased at the Creative Imaginations Shop or at everybody’s favorite store Eclectic Paperie. I altered the purse with the Blackbird Collection of patterned papers by MOD. I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper as well as a coat over the top for a finished look. I also adhered paper to the inside of the purse. The front is decorated with flowers cut out from the MOD paper, adhered with dimensionals, and stems drawn in with Celery marker. I tied the bouquet with ribbon from StarLitStudio. The little blackbird perched atop the flower is covered with Stardust Stickles. I also added rhinestones to the flower centers… gotta have bling! The scalloped trim is from the Tuxedo Doodlebug Paper Frills from Eclectic Paperie. These are a must-have in my opinion! In fact, I’m in the process of collecting all the different colors! 🙂 That’s about it for this design! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I’m getting so excited for the weekend ahead of me! I have a dinner date tonight with my hubby at Buca di Beppo, and two stamping dates… Saturday and Sunday!! HOORAY! I love stamping dates… maybe even more than I love dinner dates! LOL!
