Under the Weather?
Seattle Girl has always been one of my favorite A Muse images! I stamped the large A Muse oval in Cool Caribbean and stamped Seattle Girl in Palette Noir ink. I colored her in with Spring Green Prismacolor marker and used white gel pen for her boots and polka dotted umbrella. The color inspiration came from some ribbon that I picked up in the Dollar Spot at Target. I saw the colors and just threw it in my cart because they were so cute together! When I got home and took it out of the packaging I realized it was only 12″ of six different colors! That’s not even enough to tie around a card! So that’s why I layered the ribbons across the bottom. I’ll have to read the packaging more carefully next time! The sentiment was stamped onto Cool Caribbean with Palette Noir ink and then covered with an oval shaped A Muse Creative Candy. I hand drew the raindrops with Tempting Turquoise marker. I added stitching around the image and along the bottom of the card. A bow at the top seemed to finish it off. Hope you have a wonderful day! I’m off to the airport to pick up my husband. He’s been gone since Saturday and I’m so happy to have him back home!
