Let it Snow
Last night I had the best intentions to hunker down (is that totally a midwestern saying?) and get some things checked off my growing to-do list. But what did I end up doing? You guessed it… I sat down at my stamp table and didn’t move from that position for a couple hours. I love the new set Big on Christmas! The images are so cute. And I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas cards. This color combination is Bashful Blue and Wild Wasabi with some Pixie Pink accents. I wheeled the background with Bold Snowflakes and covered them with Crystal Stickles. I adhered this piece to the card base, stitched around the whole card, and added sparkly white Making Memories brads to the corners. The image is colored with Stampin’ Up markers. I discovered that 3 layers of Certainly Celery marker equals Wild Wasabi! I outlined each letter and the snowman with a grey Copic marker. I also stitched around the main image and popped it up on dimensionals. A little gingham bow for Mr. Snowman seemed to be the perfect finishing touch. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
