Spooky Sweets & Beautiful Blooms
All I can say is WOW!! Can you believe all the great new stuff at PaperTrey!? Two new sets this month, new packaging, and Primas!! Who doesn’t love Primas!? These are a couple of the designs I came up with using Spooky Sweets and Beautiful Blooms, but there’s so much more to see in the InkPad Gallery. For the spider window card, the spiders are stamped in Versamagic Midnight Black and the big ones are covered in Crystal Stickles. The window frame is glued on top of the acetate and then popped up over the spider image. The patterned paper is from SEI and I used my cloud decorative scissors for the “awning.” The background is stamped with Cheesecloth and the bracket stickers are from Stampendous. There’s a stamp in the Spooky Sweets set that fits exactly onto an Avery address label (that Nichole… she’s so clever!). For the treat tin, I stamped a bunch of address labels in different colors and put them around Hershey Nuggets. The tin is covered with Sandylion patterned paper and two strips of Green Galore stamped with bats, spiders, and boo. The scalloped tag is made with the Stampin’ Up scallop punch. Now on to Beautiful Blooms… I’ve had this set for about a week and I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface of possibilities! For this sample, I drew my inspiration from a piece of patterned paper by American Crafts. Who needs patterned paper when you have beautiful stamps to create your own!? I used several different Versamagic inks (Thatched Straw, Tea Leaves, Sea Breeze, Midnight Black) and Really Rust cardstock to achieve the same color combo as the patterned paper. The little flower is cut out and popped up with a Doodlebug rhinestone center. I used the Borders & Corners circle set to outline the circle. I reach for these sets ALL the time…a must-have in my opinion! The black and white striped ribbon is from Michael’s. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy all the new PaperTrey stuff as much as I have!
