Happy Howloween
Yesterday I planned to post a picture of our living room completely filled with boxes, but I decided to save myself the embarrassment! LOL! It is simply a MESS! I figured that means we’re making progress though, right!? In the midst of moving, I’m also feverishly designing cards that will be featured in the Stampendous booth at the Mall of America event next weekend. I just got the go-ahead to post some of them here on my blog! This card uses Ollie Scarecrows and Howloween. You can find both of them at Eclectic Paperie. I just love this image! I colored it with Copic markers and the owl’s wings are covered with Caramel Latte Fun Flock. The cardstock colors are Bazzill Forget-me-not and Parakeet. Parts of the image are highlighted with Crystal Stickles and I added the little spiders from the Stampendous Spider Webs sticker sheet. The “O’s” in Howloween are popped up on dimensionals and the entire image is faux stitched. On a side note, did you know that World Cardmaking Day is October 6th? I’ve also been working on designing a make and take featuring Stampendous products for World Cardmaking Day. One of my designs was accepted by Archiver’s so if you stop by Archiver’s on World Cardmaking Day, you’ll get to make the card I designed! You can read about the event and see the card here! Obviously, the design is very simple as they are expecting thousands of people across the country to do the make and take. Hope you all have a great day!!
