Playful Penguins
How cute are these penguins!? I had so much fun using them for these cards! The stamp is called Penguin Games and you can find it at Eclectic Paperie! I absolutely love penguins and there seem to be a lot of penguin stamps to choose from lately. There are the Penguin Pals by Stampendous and some of my new favorites, the Memory Box Penguins! The images on both of these cards are stamped in Palette Noir ink and colored with Copic markers. The lights are covered with Stardust embossing powder, the white details on the Santa hats are covered with a mixture of White Fun Flock and glitter, and the “ice” is covered with Crystal Effects. Lots of details that the picture just doesn’t pick up! I used my scallop scissors for the
main image and the Giga rectangle scallop punch for the sentiment. The background polka dots were stamped with Versamagic Midnight Black ink using a large pencil eraser. The second card below uses basically the same supplies, with the addition of Class A’Peels black dot sparklers and May Arts ribbon from StarLitStudio. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
FYI on the Manila Folder Album Kits: I am teaching the manila folder album class at the scrapbook store tonight! Which means I will begin cutting the pieces tomorrow night for those of you who ordered a manila folder album kit. I hope to get these shipped out by September 20th. Thanks for your patience! Let me know if you have any questions. For those of you waiting on folding instructions, they’re coming soon! I just haven’t had a chance to snap pictures yet.
