MFT Countdown – Day 2
Today is Day 2 of the countdown to the release of FIVE new sets from My Favorite Things! The sneak peeks today are from the set Boho Blossoms. You can purchase it at My Favorite Things or Eclectic Paperie on October 1st… OMGosh… that’s tomorrow! Where has this month gone!? The five new sets will release tonight at Midnight EST and the sneak peeks will wrap up tomorrow with Think Pink… a special set in honor of breast cancer awareness month! When I sit down to design a card, I usually pick out the patterned paper first and design around that. I found this Chatterbox Villa Teacups paper in my stash and thought it would match the image perfectly! The image is stamped in Versamagic Pink Grapefruit, the arrow is stamped in Versamagic Tea Leaves, and then the whole piece is sponged with Versamagic Pixie Dust. The inside of the image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. Then it’s popped up on dimensionals and embellished with Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen. I wish my camera would pick up all the sparkle! The card base is Prism Desert Coral Medium. The small green flower brad is from Making Memories and the LOVE charms are from Creating Keepsakes.
