Happy Cupcake Day!
I’ve had several requests to start doing Cupcake Friday again so it’s baaaaaaaack! ๐ For those of you who are new to my blog, I used to post some kind of creation using a cupcake every Friday. I stopped doing Cupcake Friday when I was asked to join the Dirty Dozen and a few other design teams. I just couldn’t handle a weekly blog theme on top of everything else. It’s not that I now have more time on my hands, but I miss Cupcake Friday and I love having an excuse to use all my cute cupcake stuff! So I hope you will enjoy the reinstatement of Cupcake Friday as much as I will! I started out with this sketch from Di Hickman’s blog. I love her card sketches! I used Girlfriends Polka Dots and Summer Dots from the MME Confetti Surprise Collection. I just hopped over to Eclectic Paperie to grab those links and saw that ALL of their paper is on sale in honor of World Cardmaking Day tomorrow! Lots of inks and other fun stuff is on sale too! You can check out all the sale stuff here. The image is colored with Copic markers and I added a rhinestone to the party hat. The sentiment is A Muse. The card base is Prism paper. I used my Stampin’ Up horizontal slot punch on the image to thread the ribbon through. The ribbon is May Arts from StarLitStudio. OK… I just looked over my posts from the last week and apparently I am obsessed with the black polka dot organdy ribbon! It’s on *everything*! LOL! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a Happy Cupcake Day and a wonderful weekend! ๐
