Bella Birthday
I’m always in need of more birthday cards! I watercolored several Bellas a while back and they’ve been patiently waiting to be turned into cards. I used watercolor paper and an aquapainter to color the image. My watercoloring skills are far from perfect (or even good!), but I’ve found that watercolor paper really helps so I finally invested in a quality watercolor paper tablet from Dick Blick. I used this sketch from Sherry and Jeanne’s JBWW Challenge. The patterned paper is from the Crate Paper Carnival Collection. As I was packing up my stamp room for our move a while back, I discovered about a thousand buttons that I didn’t even know I had! They were stashed away in the back of a cupboard. In an effort not to hoard I decided to use three buttons on this card… yes… 3 whole buttons! At this rate, it will be years before I make a dent in my button collection! LOL! The sentiment is from A Muse and the ribbon is from my local ribbon warehouse. I hope you all had a great weekend! I was able to finish some design commitments, relax a bit, and enjoy the beautiful weather! And Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends! We’re going over to a friend’s house tonight to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving…Mmmmm…Mmmmm!
