Happy Cupcake Day!
Woooohooooo!! It’s Friday! I live for Friday’s! It’s the most wonderful day of the week for me because it means I have the whole weekend ahead to relax and stamp! This weekend Jon and I are going on a shopping trip for some new winter clothes. And today is Cupcake Day! What could be better!? You can see I’m easily amused! *grin* I started out with this sketch from one of Beate’s weekend sketch challenges. This image is Make a Wish by Penny Black. The patterned paper is Party Gifts from the Heidi Grace It’s My Party Collection. I am loving the Heidi Grace papers lately… I can’t seem to stay away! The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I used Lime Stickles on the cupcake and Turquoise Stickles on the frame with Stampendous Dot Sparklers in the corners. The background is stamped with Cornish Heritags Farm Reverse Dot Backgrounder. The sentiment is from PaperTreyInk Faux Ribbon. The velvet ric rac is May Arts from Cindy at StarLitStudio. The flower is from the Prima Fruit Loops Collection and the rhinestone brad is Making Memories from Michael’s. As my craft shows are quickly approaching I’ve decided to start making multiples of each card I create so that’s what you see at the bottom of the picture. I really hate making multiples, but it’s a necessity when preparing for a craft show! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Just a quick shout-out to all my friends in Portland this weekend! I wish I was there!
