PTI Goodness
The 15th of each month is always a day I look forward to. It means more goodness is on the way from PaperTreyInk! I love the two sets Nichole released this month, but what’s new!? I love ALL the sets Nichole designs! Snowflake Serenade has so many possibilities. I love how you can break up the sentiment with your word of choice, but the large size and script font make it easy to use the words on their own as well… plenty of visual interest! For the first card I used Cosmo Cricket Believe from the Be Good Collection. The sentiment is embossed with copper embossing powder. I distressed and sponged the 
edges, then added some copper brads, and a little chocolate satin ribbon. The cardstock colors are Cranberry Crisp, Sage Shadow, and Very Vanilla. For my second card with Snowflake Serenade I decided to create my own patterned paper. I used Not Quite Navy, Silver, and Holographic embossing powder for the snowflakes. Each of the navy snowflakes is embellished with Stampendous dot sparklers and the Joy sentiment is embossed in silver. I wish the photo would pick up on the all the sparkle from the holographic embossing powder. You’ll just have to use your imagination! Piece of Cake is the other set that PaperTrey released today. This set is versatile as well, and I loved checking out all the designs from the other design team gals. Make sure you check out the InkPad Gallery for even more ideas! The bride and groom card came together so quickly. Nichole has designed the cake flowers as one stamp for perfect placement every time… so quick and easy! 
The patterned paper is Heidi Grace Moonlight Meadow Glitter Mini Floral. The cake is stamped in Regal Rose, the flowers in Versamagic Cloud White, and the leaves in Versamagic Tea Leaves. I added Stampendous dot sparklers to the flower centers and to dot the “i” in bride. I used the Stampin’ Up slit punch to create the scalloped topper. The ribbon is May Arts from StarLitStudio.
