Happy Halloween!

Bwahahahaha…I received an email today with some Halloween Maxine cartoons and just had to share a few! I love Maxine funnies! I’m happy to report that the bags of candy we bought for the trick-or-treaters tonight are still unopened! So it’s official… our lights will be on! We’re not dressing up or putting out any decor (except for the lonely pumpkin on our front porch), but hopefully we’ll get a few kids at our door. Since this is our first Halloween in our new place we’re not really sure what to expect, but I’m hoping to have a little leftover candy for m’self! LOL! I’ve already decided I’m going to be one of those parents who make their kids give them at least half of their candy after trick-or-treating. It’s really not healthy for them to eat it all themselves! *wink* And this is sad but true… another Halloween has come and I haven’t mailed out any Halloween cards. I have some belated Halloween cards to send to friends and family, but I also wanted to give away a card on my blog. So just leave me a comment on this post and I’ll draw a name tomorrow morning and send this card to you:

1. Thank you to everyone who signed up for the swap groups! I definitely have my hands full with 17 groups! There are still a few spots left in the Hambo Stamps group. I really want to fill this group and Monica (the owner of Hambo) has posted a very generous offer on her blog for anyone who signs up for the Hambo swap group! You can check out the offer here!

2. Can you help?? My blog is approaching 1 million hits! I’ve set my counter to record unique visits (instead of pageloads) so I’m pretty excited about that number! During the week of 1 million there will be lots of fun going on here! Just a little teaser… there will be prizes… lots and lots of prizes! 🙂 So keep your eye on the counter (right below the Stamping Top 50 widget) and help me reach 1 million!

    Those cartoons are so funny! My parents went out for dinner so they wouldn’t have to stay home and hand out candy. I guess when you have kids you just can’t avoid Halloween. I think this is my favorite halloween card of yours also! You gotta love PTI! Have a great day!

    I love, love halloween. We deck out the whole house, lights, coffins, cemetery, witches with smoldering couldrens, foggers, strobe lights, etc. I gave out juice boxes and microwave popcorn (no temptation for me then)and had about 40 kids. I also sent out about 25 cards, and only received one.(sniff). Anyways, great card and I hope I’m lucky!

    I discovered your blog today through the Splitcoast web site, and I am already hooked and incredibly excited. I printed the questions from where you were tagged and created a layout about myself (I had been meaining to do that for a while, but just totally putting it off). That plus a few self portraits made for the easiest layout I have put together in a long time. And I used some old patterned paper – that rocks. Thanks for the info and the inspiration. I also love the file folder album and can’t wait to try it.
