Big Flower Birthday
I promise this is the last of the cards using Time Well Spent and Cutie Pie paper! Previously I mentioned that Time Well Spent would be available for purchase soon, but I must clarify that it is a hostess set and must be earned by hosting a Stampin’ Up workshop. Thank you to the demonstrators who pointed that out for me! Guess what!?!? I received my complimentary copy of the new Stampin’ Up Spring/Summer catalog on Saturday! I had such a fun weekend looking through it over and over and over. I’ll be posting my personal picks soon! Once again, I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol and a stump. I used my Creative Memories Circle Cutting System to cut out the image and then placed the Spellbinders scalloped circle cutout behind it. Parts of the flower are highlighted with Stardust gelly roll pen and there’s a little yellow rhinestone in the flower center. I popped up the image on dimensionals and added the Pomegranate stitched ribbon. Overall a pretty quick card if you don’t count the time it took to color the flower image! LOL! So… are you feeling the stress of the season? I felt so productive over the weekend yet as I left for work this morning it seems I didn’t even put a dent in my to do list. This week is filled with holiday parties, gift wrapping, and preparing for our travels back to Iowa to be with Jon’s family for Christmas… not to mention some last minute design team obligations! Better stop typing and update that to do list. 🙂 Hope you all have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!
