Crate Cupcake
Good morning and Happy Cupcake Day! I have two cupcake cards today in order to make up for no cupcake card last week. 🙂 I just wasn’t feelin’ the creativity last night so I tried to keep these quick and simple. The more I try to force it the more awful it turns out! LOL! I used Crate Samantha patterned paper and matching ribbon on both cards. The cupcake image is from Wildflower Stamps and the sentiments are both from A Muse. For the top card I started with a sketch from Di Hickman’s blog. The background is stamped with the polka dot backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms. The cupcake is colored with Copic markers and glittered with Crystal Stickles. I used the Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die for the red scallop and the Stampin’ Up scallop punch for the purple layer. I used a trick I learned from Mary Jo Albright’s blog for the SU scallop punch. Such a clever idea! The bottom card uses pretty much the same supplies as the top. Thanks for stopping by today!
