Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thanks for participating in my little cupcake challenge over the weekend! I saw so many new cupcake stamps that I must add to my collection! You can check out all the challenge card entries here. Joy & Daisy should be posting the winner on the eP forum soon! During the last stamp session with my SoCal friends I was able to stamp a few Hanna images from my friend Leann. Thanks, Leann! I love Hanna…she’s just too cute! Each month Jami issues a challenge for the dirty girls past and present! The requirements for this month’s challenge were to use any girl image, something sweet, and a non-traditional size card. I knew I wanted to use Hanna and a 5 1/2″ square card. My “sweet” is a little abstract… I used Cutie Pie designer paper and pie is sweet! *wink* The image is colored with Copics. I masked Hanna and the puddle with Eclipse masking tape and airbrushed the background with Baby Blue Copic using the Copic airbrush system. The puddle and raindrops are covered with Crystal Stickles. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Rain or Shine. I stamped it on vellum with VersaMagic Midnight Black ink and attached it to the card with blue square brads. I used the Stampin’ Up piercing template to evenly space the holes for lacing the ribbon up the side. The ribbon is 1/4″ grosgrain in Purely Pomegranate (more details on where you can get that soon!). I think that’s about it for this card! You can check out all the other dirty girl challenge creations here! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
