Stampendous Valentines
You know what’s really strange? Since I’ve gotten into designing for manufacturers and publications I’m always working ahead of the holidays. I made these Stampendous Valentine cards before Christmas and now that Valentine’s Day is approaching I’m working on Christmas cards and gifts for publications. That is such a strange new concept for me! For the first card I stamped the Ornate Heart in Tsukineko Glue Pad and covered it with Red Fun Flock. Then I very carefully masked the heart to stamp the XOXO background from the acrylic Hugs Topper set. I just layed a piece of paper over the top of the flocked heart… not a sticky note because then the Fun Flock would come off. I stamped the Cherish sentiment in Versamark and embossed with silver EP. I added the silver brads and popped up the image. The patterned paper is Love, Elsie (bought it at Archiver’s) and the ribbon is American Crafts. On the second card I used the Music of Love stamp and the sentiment from Notes of Love. The hearts are stamped in VersaMagic Red Magic and Midnight Black ink. The black heart is popped up on dimensionals and the ribbon is American Crafts. I had planned a different post for today, but in a rush to get out of the house this morning I didn’t have a chance to take a new picture. So I’m feeling slightly unprepared and less wordy than usual. LOL! I think that’s all I’ve got for today! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
