My Cupcake Slippers
I was suffering a creative block on Saturday. People always ask me if I have creative blocks. Yes… unfortunately I’m not immune. And this was not the time for a creative block as I’m swimming in projects for CHA. You know what always snaps me out of a creative slump? A trip to Target! So I packed up a few of my stamp sets and headed to Target. I like to have them along to compare to different products and color combos. I browse through kids clothing for color inspiration, housewares (dish patterns always provide inspiration), food and candy (for product packaging ideas), and of course the scrapbooking/office supply aisles! I was browsing through the socks when I distinctly heard this little pair of slippers calling my name! Aren’t they soooo cute!? They’re little Mary Jane’s with rhinestone closures and rhinestones hearts on the cupcakes. So I snatched them up and wore them all weekend! Not only do they make me happy, but they also got me out of my creative slump! I was a machine the rest of the weekend. LOL! Unfortunately, I will have to wait to show you the fruit of my labor until after CHA. *sad face* Thanks to those of you who participated in my color challenge over the weekend! It was fun seeing all of your creations!
