Cupcake Challenge 5
Good Morning! Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! I made this card last night using a cupcake embellishment that I picked up in the gift-wrapping section at Target. Isn’t it cute!? It came with the two red rhinestone cherries on it and I added Crystal Stickles to the frosting and the Celebrate rub-on from Stampin’ Up. I The patterned paper is also Stampin’ Up… I forget the name of the collection, but it’s retired. The ribbon is American Crafts and the cardstock is Stampin’ Up Regal Rose and Bazzill Limeaid & Hopi. I used the slit punch to create the scalloped border and added white brads to each scallop. I think that’s about it! I don’t know about you all, but I’m the kind of person who buys endless embellishments and doesn’t use them! My Clip-it-Up is completely full of rub-ons, chipboard letters, stickers, fancy brads, and other embellishments that are often forgotten. I just naturally gravitate toward stamping, but for some reason I can’t resist buying the stuff! So the challenge for this weekend is to make a card without using any stamps! I know you all have tons of dies and embellishments too so try it out! You might be surprised at how much you enjoy it! Cupcakes are not required for the challenge. Use keyword TECC5 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 5) when you upload to Splitcoast. If you post on your blog, leave a link in the comments so I can check it out! Can’t wait to see what you come up with! Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
