Stampin’ Up Technique Class
Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! I’m teaching a Stampin’ Up technique class tonight for the ladies who are participating in my monthly club. I had to make some last minute changes from what I originally planned for the projects. I placed an order for a bunch of new stuff from the mini catalog… the designer papers, matching stamp sets, rub-ons, etc. etc. but it’s not going to arrive in time for class. *boo-hoo* I’m teaching two techniques tonight, the Stamp-a-ma-jig and shaker cards. I’ve found that the Stamp-a-ma-jig intimidates people until they actually try it and see how easy it is to use. We’ll be lining up the stamps from All in a Row to create the striped background. And they’ll also get a chance to try one of the Stampin’ Up rub-ons on the friend card. Shaker cards are also fun and easy to make, but a little intimidating if you’re trying to follow along by reading instructions. Once you’ve made a shaker it’s like riding a bike… it just comes naturally! 🙂 The little box is a version of the 2-4-6-8 box. I set jumbo eyelets with the Cropadile into the sides of the box and threaded ribbon through for the handle. We’re using the Sale-a-Bration set So Many Scallops for the little bonus 3-D project. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
