Easter Table Setting
Nichole Heady issued a challenge to the PaperTrey senior design team to see how creative we could get with our Papertrey stamps, patterned paper, and anything clear! There’s just nothing better than a beautifully decorated Easter dinner table so I decided to use my transparencies to create a table setting. I started by cutting the window favor box out of Papertrey’s Everyday Blessings Collection of patterned papers. I covered the hole in the lid with transparency. The box is filled with Mini Robin Eggs (a.k.a. Whoppers). I picked out all of the blue and pink ones so it would coordinate better. 🙂 Then I stamped an image from the Just Hatched set in Aqua Mist ink
while masking off the ‘half-dozen treats’ portion of the stamp. The image is punched out with the Marvy Uchida Mega Scalloped Oval punch. I used Topnotch Twill in Spring Moss to tie around the box. I made the place card out of a 4″x 4″ piece of transparency folded in half. I used my Papertrey Trajan Alphabet to stamp the name and the Stampin’ Up slit punch on each side to provide a place for the namecard to fit. Then I just added a couple mini Primas and white brads to hold it in place. The base of the napkin ring is also made from transparency. This makes sliding it on and off the
napkin a breeze. I tied Luxe Satin Ribbon through another Prima to finish it off. Everything was really quick and easy to make! I’m really looking forward to setting the table for Easter dinner! 🙂 Make sure you check out the other designer’s blogs for their take on the challenge: Nichole, Debbie, Heather, Lisa, and Amy!
