It’s Official… the Launch of a New Venture!
I’ve been working on this project for the past couple months and it’s so fun to be able to share my little dream with all of you! Before I discovered the world of stamping and prior to joining manufacturer design teams, I began this hobby by selling a few cards and gift items to friends and family. The word spread quickly and soon I was participating in craft shows, making wedding invitations, birth announcements, and greeting cards. My new little business needed a name! I sat down with friends in my college dorm room and we brainstormed possibilities. Taylored Expressions was one of the suggestions and it instantly stuck!
A couple years later I discovered Splitcoaststampers and joined under the username Taylored Expressions. The rest is history! I became completely addicted (in a good way!) to this wonderful community and began sharing my artwork there. I was asked to join the Dirty Dozen Design Team in February ’07 and other manufacturer design teams shortly thereafter. The idea has always been in the back of my mind to have my own website to sell my cards and invitations… in fact, I bought the domain almost four years ago! So that brings me to today… the official launch of Taylored Expressions!
Q: What is Taylored Expressions?
A: As you now know I’ve been selling my cards and gifts for several years. I’m so excited to be able to offer the same quality handmade items in a new setting! I hope to have a little bit of everything from greeting cards to wedding invitations to unique handmade gifts. The website is still a work in progress and I will be updating frequently with new designs so check back often! Some of the new things I’m excited to offer through the website are:
*White line Sticky Tape. I am currently offering two widths (1/4″ & 1/2″). Each roll has 55 yards of tape for only $7.00 (1/4″) and $13.00 (1/2″)!
*Ribbon. You’ll find several colors and styles at very affordable prices! Polka
dots…gingham…grosgrain… and more to come! Make sure you read the descriptions to find
out which colors are close matches to your favorite Stampin’ Up colors.
*Foam Tape. Another great bargain for all of you dimensional junkies! I am currently
offering two thicknesses (1/16″ & 1/8″). Each roll is 36 yards long and a great value at less
than $.75 a yard.
*Favor Boxes. Cute, fun, and practical! The favor boxes are perfect for small gifts, birthday
party favors, or table decorations. The favor boxes are available in your choice of 40 different
Prism Paper colors.
*Taylored Kits. Coming Soon! I will be offering some of my favorite combinations of paper
and stamps along with a project sheet for you to create your own handmade works of art with
inspiration from Taylored Expressions.
Q. Are you offering any promotions?

Q. Does this mean you’re going to stop blogging?
A. Absolutely not! Although blogging is a lot of work, I enjoy it way too much to stop! You can still visit my blog each day for inspiration and the occasional random thought about blowdryers. *wink*
