Bride to Be
Good morning! Last night I was itching to use my new Stampin’ Up Big on Spring set. Jon’s cousin is getting married soon so this card will be for the bridal shower. I decided to pair it with one of the patterned papers from Papertrey’s new Pink Patterns Collection along with Papertrey Spring Moss and Berry Sorbet cardstock. I stamped the image in Palette Noir and colored the letters with Copic markers. I shaded around the bottom of the letters to provide some depth. I get a lot of questions about which color gray I use for shading. I use Cool Gray No. 1 (C-1) for the majority of my shading, but I do use several others as well. I think C-1 is a good starting point and then you can branch out from there. I punched and embossed the image with my Spellbinder’s Classic Rectangle die and matted it on a Spellbinder’s Scalloped Rectangle. I punched out flowers from the polka dot pattern in the Pink Patterns Collection, glued them onto the bouquet, and added rhinestones to the flower centers. I also added a small silver bow to embellish the stems. The ribbon is Papertrey Swiss Dot Satin in Berry Sorbet. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful day!
