Cupcake Challenge #14
Happy Friday and Happy Cupcake Day! I got these felt cupcake embellishments from my friend Laura and thought I’d better use them before I lose them! Things get lost rather quickly in my messy stamp room. LOL! They originally came to me with sequins on them, but I peeled the sequins off and replaced them with rhinestone sprinkles. I also added a red Rain Dot cherry to each cupcake. The cupcakes are popped up on foam tape. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella and I used a Spellbinders die to punch it out and emboss the edges. The ribbon is American Crafts and the cardstock is Prism. The finished card size is 3 3/4″ by 7″ and will fit in a long envelope. There are so many possibilities with this layout so I have another sketch challenge for you this weekend! You’re not required to use cupcakes for the challenge, but if you got ’em why not use ’em!? ๐ If you’re uploading to Splitcoast use keyword TECC14 (for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge 14). Leave a comment on this post with a link to your blog post or gallery upload so I can check it out! I will draw one random entry from among all the participants to win two cupcake stamps, three cupcake candles (aren’t they adorable!?), and an assortment of pink, red, and brown ribbons from Taylored Expressions. You must have your cards uploaded by Monday, May 5th at 8am PST to be eligible for the prize drawing. I also wanted to share with you the card I designed for the Stamp of the Month kit at Clipper Street, an online store based in Canada! Click here to check out their Stamp of the Month kit and browse around the website! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend… can’t wait to see what you do with the sketch!
