Love your scripture choice. It’s so hard to pick one, isn’t it?
Your project is one of my faves!!

What a wonderful scripture…resting in the shadow of our great God…no better place to be! And, your project, is bee-a-utiful : )

All 61 years have been good. The best was age 50 because it was a year before my mother died and two years before I became ill. But, since then we’ve had 5 grandchildren born and one great-granddaughter. Nothing in the world can compare to the joy of grands. Tell Jon “happy belated birthday”, for me. TFS.

My 20’s were young and exciting and
so many new things happening. My
30’s was harder on me as far as
juggling responsibilities. I would say that 45 is the best time.
    My 50’s were great. I became a
grandmother and now I’m into my 60’s and other than physical changes to slow me down, I can’t complain too bitterly. Life is what you make it. Treasure each day.

  • mimihas5

I have so many years that have been wonderful. But the best year for me was when I was 41. I became a grandmother for the first time had a great job as a programmer, became an aerobics instuctor part time, was also going to college a few nights a week and I was in the best health I have ever been in. 🙂 Getting older does not mean you have to be old. As long as you have your health you have every thing. 🙂

    Happy Birthday to your husband.

Happy Birthday Jon! (sorry I’m a day late). Welcome to real adulthood! *wink*

I have to say that my favorite one single year would have to be 29 when I got engaged, got married, bought our first house and was working at a job I loved! There’s been lots of good stuff since then of course, but not all in one year.

Each year seems to have it’s own benefits. In my 20’s I graduated from University, worked in Holland with Billy Graham for a year, got my first “real” job. In my 30’s I bought my own place, got married adn had my kids. In my 40’s I think the experiences of life and maturity bring about a great sense of who you are and confidence and peace within yourself that is wonderful. I firmly believe age is simply a number and you just need to enjoy each day that you have and live life to the fullest 🙂

  • Monique

Wow that was a lot in your 21st year and I was there for it. I remember really liking 22 and thought after 25 now I am just getting old and did not want 27 but so much has changed and still changing learning that 27 can be good and hopefully 28 will be even better!

  • Alison

    30s ROCK! The year i turned 30 I:
    – graduated from college
    – got my first “real” job
    – got my first place of my own
    – got my first new car
    – met my future husband!

This year I turn 40, and so far I’ve:
    – got my second “real” job
    – plan to build a new house…

So it does just get better and better – enjoy and Happy Birthday!

Have to agree things get better with age. I cannot imagine being as in love with my husband as I now now at 51 after 27 years of marriage and ministry!

Any age can be great Taylor….it’s just a number. Now in my 40’s I can say life is great but so was life in my 30’s…you know who you are more than when you’re 20, have more confidence I think and not as many wrinkles as once the 40’s hit:0)))) It’s all good though…we’re alive and kicking! Linda

Lots of good comments here….I am 55 (yikes), but the perfect age for me was 34. Not too old, not too young, still looked good and felt good….but 55, hey its okay, too, I really love my life, great kids and fantastic grandchildren that I wouldn’t trade for anything…I guess its what you make of it…kind of like the saying “Use what you have”! Have a great day!

  • Robyn :) or Scout(meow)

This year, 32, has been the best so far. My husband came home from Iraq and I started a great job. Altogether, I would say my 30’s have been the best.

  • Jenn

Happy Birthday, Jon! The 30s are great (and don’t let any younguns tell you otherwise!). 😉

  • Jannette

My 20’s were ok, having kids, the 30’s they were great, the kids being older. Now so far into my
40’s the kids are grown and gone (just a few blocks away). My hubby and I are really getting use to it just being us and it’s really nice. I’m now looking forward to each and every year, it’s only getting better!

  • IamDerby

I hated my teen years but my 20’s were great… my 30s are turning out pretty great too.

  • Debbie

i think every age is the best. i enjoyed my teens and 20’s, my 30’s and 40’s. but i wouldn’t want to go back to any of them.

and now i’m enjoying my 50’s. each stage of life is filled with joys and blessings and new lessons to learn.

  • Gretchen Clark

Tell him Happy Birthday…My Birthday is today too (but I am 40…yikes), the 30’s are great!

  • JoAnna

Happy Birthday Jon!!! Today is my birthday too 🙂 That is cool!!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

    JoAnna

  • Amanda Angert

    Happy Birthday Jon!

I’ll be 32 in July and honestly I’ve loved my thirties the best so far. I got married at 22, had my first daughter the day before my 27th birthday and my second daughter just two months after I turned 30. I feel like I’m more “settled” now than I was in my 20s and and more comfortable in my own skin. I feel like I just get happier and life just keeps getting better!

  • cheryl

Out of 54 years, there have been many favorites in each decade. Your life is what you want it to be and as soon as you start thinking “I’m too old…”, you probably will be.

  • Jenn in GA

i really liked my thirties. i felt like i was finally as old as i’d wanted to be when i was younger and i always wanted to be older. now that i’m in my early 40s, i’d like to turn the clock back a bit, but as long as i’m alive, it’s all good…

  • Shannan Teubner

    Hmmm…16 was fun…lol
    Happy birthday, Jon!

  • Peggy Maier

My favorite age has been my 50’s! Just a lot of blessings from the Lord & finding out what He wanted me to do with my life. (I’m now in my 60’s – well, just turned 60 last year – & besides health problems, it’s great!)

  • Becky

    Happy B’day to your hubby!!

I use to say that its all downhill once i hit 25…i’m now 33 and its not downhill lol.
Its more fun,i’m more mature,i know what i want and how to get it…..so look forward to your future knowing that it only gets better with age!!!

  • Flossie's Follies

30’s were great, so many challenges and opportunities, the 40’s you start coming into your “own” you will know what I mean when you get there. The 50’s oh my not bad, hear it is the new 30’s LOL

  • Til

The 30’s were great for us….but the 40’s are proving to be even better!
